Reward of one year's fasting and one year of offering Salat at night

Hadith: Aws Ibn Aws Thaqafi Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates: I heard Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam saying: He who takes bath properly and perfectly on Friday, hastens to the masjid very early and goes on foot, not riding, sits close to the Imam and listens (to the sermon) attentively, does not speak at all, then for each step he will get the reward of one year's fasting and one year of offering Salat at night. (Abu Dawud: 345)

Ruling on subsidy - concession Loan

⭕Today's Question no. 965⭕
To reduce unemployment, government have come up with a scheme of providing loan to purchase machines, truck, tempo etc with an exemption of 25% amount. The remaining balance amount is considered as loan and has to be returned on 10% interest rate weekly. Is it permissible for Muslims to avail such a subsidy loan?

⭕Answer⭕

As far as we know, the intention of the government to provide such a loan scheme is to reduce unemployment and to help the poor and needful and therefore a part of the amount is not to be returned (known as subsidy). The intention of such a scheme is not to charge interest and so if a person takes such a loan of which certain amount is forgiven and remaining balance amount to be returned with interest, and the amount is equal to the subsidy amount and extra amount is not to be paid by the individual, then it is to be considered that a certain amount is given to a needy person and then that person returns it back. However, if the returning amount is greater than the taken loan, it will be considered as interest which is not permissible.

Jahaan tak hame ma'alum huva hai is qism ke plan se hukoomat ka maqsad berozgaron ko rozgar muhayya karna aur gareeb riaaya-public ko faidah uthane ka mauqa dena hota hai isee liye hukoomat kuchh raqam chhut bhi deti hai (jise subsidy kaha jata hai) is qisam ki scheme se hukoomat ka maqsad sood khori nahin hai
isliye agar koi shakhs hikmat se is qism ki scheme se qaraz le aur hukoomat ki taraf se uspar kuchh raqam chhut mile aur baaqi raqam hukoomat sood ke saath wusool kare to agar woh sood chhut (subsidy) me mili huyi raqam se adaa ho jaata hai aur apne paas se zaaid raqam na dena padti ho to is ta'awil se ya'ani yun samajh kar ke hukoomat ne bataure tawun-madad ke jo raqam di thi us shakhs ne usee madad wali ki raqam me se kuchh raqam wapas kar di” mazkoorah scheme ke aitibaar se qaraz lene ki gunjaish ma'alum hoti hai

aur agar sood ki raqam chhut-subsidy me mili huyi raqam se ziyadah dena pade to fir ye muaamala soodi kehlayega aur na jaiz rahega.

Hadith: Amr bin Shouib narrates from his father, who heard from his grandfather Radiyallahu 'anhuma, who narrated that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Command your children when they are seven years old, to perform Salat; and beat them for not observing it when they are ten years old. And at this age separate their beds (i.e. do not let brothers and sisters sleep together). (Abu Dawud: 495)
 
Note: Beating should not cause bodily harm and not on the face.

Allah has appointed its time between 'Isha Salat and the break of dawn. (Abu Dawud: 1418)
 
Note: The Arabs considered red camels to be a most valuable and desirable commodity.

Ten disadvantages of playing cricket

Today's Question no. 652

What is the ruling on watching and playing cricket? Does it contribute to physical fitness?

Answer

Playing cricket has following harms.

1. There is high chances of physical injury in playing cricket. Injuries to legs, bone fractures, arms, stomach and face too has been seen.

2. It create problems to people travelling on foot and cars including animals when played on roads.

3. High chances of road accidents with death have been observed.

4. Chances of physical injuries with ball and bat which leads to serious eye injuries and face transfigured has been seen.

5. Breaking windowpanes and glass doors of neighbours.

6. Lies, betrayal, fights, hatred, enmity etc feeling for one another on losing the game.

7. If played with bet, then sin of betting included.

8. If there is prize money on winning, it is wastage of personal money and sinful to spending on supporting haraam and if it is others money then too it is sinful.

9. Not praying salah and missing out prayers in Masjid with jamaat.

10. To waste ones precious time in the game, and after end, on its discussion.

👉🏻 With regarding physical exercise

1. No exercise is regarded as a game. Bodybuilders practice physical fitness. Doctors recommend physical exercises for various illness non of which include games like football etc. As such cricket is a game, not an exercise.

2. Crowd does not gather to watch people exercising.

3. People sit in front of TV for hours watching cricket, football. Nobody spends such time watching a person exercise.

4. Physical fitness has no recommended time and is done maximum for an hour. However, in cricket hours are wasted watching and playing and people get so engrossed in it that they forget about the time.

Note: Witr in Arabic refers to His Oneness, that is being without partners. Allah also loves actions done in odd numbers. Many examples of it are found in Shari'ah and Sunnah. Witr Salat is loved by Allah because it has an odd number of Rak'at. (Majma' Bihar-ul-Anwar)

Matlab yeh hai ke lakdi aur chhadi jaisi maamooli cheez bhi ijaazat ke bagair nahin lena chaahiye, hatta ke hansi mazaaq mein bhi aisa na kare. Aur agar kisi ki koi cheez galti se leli hai, to us ko waapas kar dena chaahiye, yeh nahin samajhna chaahiye ke yeh to ek maamooli cheez hai is ko waapas karne ki kya zaroorat hai.

isme khelnewale ke jism ko sakht nuqsan pahonchta hai, bazon ki tangen tootna aur bazon ke sar ya pet me chot lagne se maut ke munh tak pahonch jana hum ne khud dekha hai.

Aane jane walon ko chalne aur gaadi chalane ke raaste par khelne ki wajah se guzarne me taklif hona, koi insan balke koi haiwan bhi itminan se guzar nahi sakta

Aane-jaane wali gaadiyon ko aur khelne walon ko accident ki wajah se jaan jane ya chot aane ka khatrah

4.
Aane-jaane walon aur aaju-baju ke logon ko ball ya bat se chot lagne ka khatrah, balke ba'az ki aankhen futne aur bazon ke chehre badalne ke waqiaat bhi paish aate rahte hain

Hadith: Muslim Ibn Harith At-tamimiyi Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam told him secretly: When you complete the Maghrib Salat, then recite seven times this Du'a: Allahumma Ajirna Minan Naar (O Allah! Protect me from the Fire). After saying this if you happen to die the same night, you will be protected from the Fire. When you have offered your Fajr Salat repeat the same. For undoubtedly, if you happen to die the same day, you will be protected from the Fire. (Abu Dawud: 5079)

Answer

To part the hair exactly in centre aligned with the nose is sunnah for both males and females. Parting of hairline on the left or right side is not in accordance with Islam.

Ruling on playing Carrom

What is the ruling on playing Carrom?

🔵Answer🔵

According to Murshid Hazrat Mufti Ahmad khanpuri damad barkatuhum, the intention of playing carrom is to attract attention and time pass,if played with such intention, it is Makrooh (Tahreemee).
When a person plays such games, he get so involved in it that he misses out faraiz and wajibat. In such a scenario, it exceeds the Makrooh level and becomes Haraam.
However, if a person is regularly involved with brain and straining work, and plays the game with the intention of leisure and freshening his mind and does not misses out on his faraiz and wajibat, and does not bet on it, in such a case, it is permissible and allowed to play Carrom.

Carrom bord khelne walon ka maqsad aksar khel tamasha aur time pass hee hota hai, aesee niyyat se khelna makrooh (tahreemee) hai.

is khel ko khelne wale aksar faraiz aur wajibaat ki adaygi me is me mashgoolee kee wajha se kotahi karte hai, balke chhodte hai, aesee surat me karahat -makrooh se badh kar haraam hone ka hukm lagega.

albatta agar koi shakhs har waqt dimaagee kaam me mashgul rehta hai to apne aap ko chust -fresh rakhne ke liye kuchh waqt ke liye aese khel is tarah khelta ho Ke us me mashgoolee ki wajha se faraiz, wajibat chhutte na ho ya Us me kotahi waqe'a na hoti ho aur khel me haar -jeet ki shart na lagai jaati ho to aese shakhs ke infaradi haalaat ko madde nazar rakhte huwe gunjaish nikal sakti Hai.

Hadith: Abu Musa Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: He who offers the Salat of two cool times, enters Paradise. (Bukhari: 574)
 
Note: The Salat of two cool times refers to 'Asr, the beginning of the cooler hours of the day, and Fajr which is at the end of the cool hours of the night. Fajr Salat is difficult to offer because of the tendency to go to sleep at this time, and 'Asr is difficult because this is the time of intense worldly pre-occupation. He who is constant in performing these two Salats will more easily maintain the other three. (Mirqat-ul-Mafatih)

Hadith: Abu Umama Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: One who leaves his house having Wudu to offer obligatory Salat, his reward is like that of a person performing Hajj in the state of Ihram. And the one who goes out, bearing the hardship, solely to offer Salat Ad-Duha, he gets the reward as that of a person performing Umrah. And the offering of Salat after a previous Salat uninterrupted by any irrelevant talk or action, is recorded in Illiyyin (an auspicious register of righteous deeds). (Abu Dawud: 558)
 
Note: 1. Ihram pertains to numerous constraints imposed on those who travel for Hajj and 'Umrah to Makkah. 2. Duha Salat is a Nafl (optional) prayer before mid-day.

Aur aap us zabardast rahem karne waale par bharosa rakhiye

Allah Ta'ala ne apne Rasool Sallahu 'alaihi wassallam se irshaad farmaaya (Tarjama): Aur aap us zabardast rahem karne waale par bharosa rakhiye jo aapko us waqt bhi dekhta hai jab aap tahajjud ki Namaaz keliye khade hote hain aur us waqt bhi aapke uthne baitne ko dekhta hai jab aap Namaazon mein hote hain. Beshak wohi khoob sunne waala, jaanne waala hai. (Ash-Shu'ara: 217-220)

shadi ke hall ki jagah chhoti padti hai aur madrasa ki jagah badi hai, to shadi ke hall madrasa ki jagah me nuntaqil -transfar kar de aur madrasa ko shadi ke hall me chalaye to aesa karna jaiz hai ya nahi ?

masjid ka chanda madrasa me aur madrasa ka masjid me istiamal kar sakte hai?;

Waqif ne jis jagah ko jis maqsad ke liye waqaf kiya ho usi maqsad me us ka istiamal zarooree hai, lihaza madrasa ki jagah shadi ka hall banana saheeh nahi, agarche jagah chhoti padti ho.

*B.*
isee tarah Masjid ka chanda madrasa me aur madrasa ka chanda masjid me istiamal karna bhi jaiz nahi.

Ruling on donations

⭕Today's Question no. 959⭕
''
A. If a person donates one place for the construction of marriage hall and another for the construction of Madrasa and the allocated place gor wedding hall is small and madrasa is big. In the above mentioned case, is it permissible to utilise the space donated for wedding hall to construct the Madrasa and vice versa?

B. Can the money donated for Madrasa be used for Masjid and vice versa?

Answer

It is to be required to use thr allocated space in accordance with the way it is donated, the place donated for madrasa is to be used for madrasa and vice versa, even if the place is small.
B. In the same way, it is not permissible to use the amount donated for masjid in madrasa and vice versa.

Hazrat abu moosa ash'ari رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ se riwayat hai ke huzoor صل اللہ علیہ وسلم ne farmaya jis ne nardosheer (gotiwala khel) khela usne Allah aur us ke rasool صلی الله عليه وسلم ki naa-farmaani ki.

Ek aur hadees me hazrat sulaiman ibne bareedah naqal karte hai ke huzoor صل اللہ علیہ وسلم ne farmaya jis ne nardosheer (shatranj) se khela us ne goya apne hath khinzir ke gosht aur khoon se range.
(ABU DAWOOD 2/327)

Imam abu haneefah, imam malik, imam ahmad Rahmatullahi alayhim is par muttafiq hai ke taash aur shatranj ka bhi yahi hukm hai, nardosheer se khelna gunahe kabeerah me shumar kiya gaya hai, isee se taash, shatranj aur tin patti ka andazah laga lijiye, kyun ke Isme waqt zayea hota hai aur is se lahwo laib-khel tamashe ka mijaaz ban jaata hai aur dhire dhire juwe ki taraf badhta hai, isliye makruhe tahrimee aur Na-jaaiz hai, agar shart bhi lagaayi jaaye to juwa bhi hone ki wajah se haraam aur sakht gunaah hoga.

Playing card games and chess

⭕Today's Question no. 658⭕

What is the ruling on playing cards, chess in leisure time?

Answer

It has been reported by Hazrat abu moosa ash'ari radi allahu ta'ala anhu that Prophet Muhammed sallahu alayhi wasallam has said that whoever plays dice games has disobeyed Allah and Rasool Allah sallahu alayhi wasallam.
(ABU DAWOOD 2/319)

In another Hadith, it is reported by Hazrat Sulaiman ibne bareedah that Prophet Muhammed sallahu alayhi wasallam has mentioned that playing chess is as su h the person has soaked his hand in pig's blood. (ABU DAWOOD 2/327)

Imam abu haneefah, imama malik ahmad Rahmatuallahi alayhim agrees that playing cards and chess is also in included in it. Playing it is a major sin ( gunah e kabeerah). Such card games are prohibited because it is wastage of time, becomes a game of attention and attraction and is a way to betting games. it is therefore deemed makruhe tahrimee. If such games are challenged, it becomes bet which is why it is haraam and sinful. (Also, all 10 points mentioned in video game answer no.943 holds true for this too)

March 24 - Logon Se Apni Ta'areef


I am a plain Warner to you

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says (Translation): Verily! We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people (saying): Warn your people before a painful punishment comes to them. He said: O my people! Verily! I am a plain Warner to you. (Bidding you that you) Serve Allah and keep your duty to Him and obey me; That He may forgive you some of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. (By the blessing of Iman and piety you will be saved of torment but not death). Indeed! The term of Allah, when it comes, cannot be delayed, if you but knew. (For a long time his people paid no heed to his advice) He said: My Rabb! Verily! I have invited my people night and day, But all my invitation did not but add to their repugnance; And indeed! Whenever, I invited them, so that You may pardon them, they thrust their fingers in their ears and covered themselves with their garments (so that they may not see me), and persisted (in their refusal) and magnified themselves in pride. And indeed! I have invited them aloud; And I have made public proclamation to them, and I have appealed to them in private (spared no way to guide them). and I have said: Seek pardon of Your Rabb! He (indeed) is Ever- Forgiving. He will open up the sky for you with plentiful rain, And will increase you in wealth and sons, and will give you gardens and will give you streams. What is wrong with you that you do not take heed of the greatness of Allah Whereas He created you in (diverse) stages? See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens in harmony, And has made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp? And Allah has caused you to grow as a growth from the earth, And afterwards He makes you return to it, and He will bring you forth again, a (new) forth-bringing. And Allah has made the earth a wide expanse for you, So that you might walk thereon on spacious paths. (An-Nuh 71: 1-20)
